Irwin Richman is a professor of American Studies and History at Pennsylvania State University at Harrisburg, specializing in American arts and architecture. A native of New York City, he attended George Washington University as an undergraduate and received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. He has written many books and articles, particularly on German-American material, including most recently Pennsylvanina German Arts (1999) with Schiffer Publishing.
